Will I have to pay for my Collection?

You pay a deposit and the balance at the end of the season but your deposit will be refunded and you won’t pay anything if you achieve our Consultant challenge.

How many Collections can I sell?

You can choose to sell up to 3 Collections.

Is there a lot of paperwork to be completed before I can join?

Some, but it’s all very straight forward.

Is there a minimum sales target to reach each month?

There are no monthly targets to be met.

Will I need a car?

Yes, a car is a necessary to travel to your Shows.

What if I get tired of being a Consultant?

It’s unlikely if you love fashion and people because you’ll appreciate and enjoy the diversity of this job, not to mention its great rewards!

Can I really progress and make a go of this business?

Yes you can! Your time and effort will be rewarded.... if you’re self motivated you could even run your own team as a Manager.

What happens at the end of the Season?

If you’ve achieved our Consultant challenge, on top of your commissions earned, you will keep your samples for free... it’s a bonus!

Do I need to invest any money into my business?

Once you’ve paid your Collection deposit, you don’t need to spend any more money but if you choose to invest in extra sizes or colours, you can buy them at 50% RRP.

Am I employed by Captain Tortue?

No, you will become an independent Consultant.

I am slightly hesitant, could I just try it out to see if I like it?

Once you have signed the Agreement, you have 14 days in which you can change your mind and cancel your Collection.

How long do I have to commit for?

You join for 6 months, which is one Season, we’re sure you’ll have a great time and stay for the next season!

We have a number of Consultants who’ve been with us for years!

How much will I earn?

This is entirely up to you. Your commissions depend on your motivation to do well and the effort you put in. You can work at your own pace or challenge yourself to progress further

Will I be working alone?

No, you will be part of a team who can help and advise you. Your Manager will always be there to support you and train you.

Does being a Consultant require me to work full time?
